Weakness:  white vintage linen on eBay for less than the polyester equivalent at Bed, Bath, & Beyond with a coupon

Nemesis:  colossal public art painted blue


Doug

Superpower:  super-fix-it, alias “The Cleaner”

Weakness:  Starbucks

Nemesis:  stoplight red for absolutely no reason


Lane

Superpower:  super-cute

Weakness:  Sesame Street podcasts on iTunes

Nemesis: brown striped shirt that is not cute, provoking screaming and running in the opposite direction

  3. Hey, I know where that colossal public art structure is! It’s on the same property as my former weakness, Pastazios Pizza. Are they still there? Or maybe I shouldn’t ask you during July.
    I used to live around there, in a small apartment close to my work. I love your blog. I’m very inspired by your July no-spend month!
    I hope the summer isn’t too hot for you. I’ve been there–yuck.

  4. Pastazios Pizza is still there, Rachel. I haven’t been but we go over there a lot to let Lane play in the water fountains. It’s pretty fun. I was so glad that you commented, because I got to pop over to your blog, and I really enjoyed reading it. I can’t wait to read more.
