what a fabulous idea! i love it! i do all sorts of keepsake activities with my kids, but hadn’t thought to actually interview them to record this information!

I like the simplicity of your questions! I (this year) started doing this on my kiddo’s birthday, along with a handprint. I am such a perfectionist, though, always trying to ask too many questions, etc. Even the simple is a great keepsake!

And Kelli’s comment reminds me of another keepsake idea–last year I recorded myself reading books to the kiddos–with the idea then they could listen to stories even if I couldn’t read to them. It turned out to be really neat, because their voices are in the background, I had them say their names and ages, and sing a couple favorite songs. I need to get the recorder and do it again!
