I'm forever amazed at how things like that don't seem to bother my husband--which is great for me because when I'm freaking out, he's able to remind me of the very same thing you said: Take the long-term perspective. It's a good thing - we're in Texas too - but it just changes my perspective of all your posts. Does that make sense?! It's encouraging...we're living in a small, small place and learning how to manage money and adjusting to the births of our two boys and wanting to eat healthy and you write about a lot of that and you're here, in the same area!
