For the first time in my adult life, my husband and I did our taxes early. It’s a great feeling knowing that it’s done and I don’t have to worry about it again until next year, but I totally sympathize.
I loved the link to the salad spinner without the spinner. I usually end up eating soggy salad because I can’t bear pulling the spinner out of the deep recesses of my pantry and then there’s washing one more dish…too much trouble, but dish towels are always within reach. Genius!

Ok, I have a salad spinner, but I hate it. I mean, I’ve got to lug the giant thing out of the cabinet, wash it… ugh. I thought it’d be perfect since I hate the soggy lettuce thing. But, um, no. TOO BIG. Anyhow – I like the idea of swinging the lettuce around “like a circus man tossing a ball of fire.” Awesome imagery there!
