I can always tell how busy my family is by how often we end up at Chipotle.
Seven times this past month.
Thanks for meeting me back here.
While I gave my blog a vacation, I stayed here and took some time for reflecting, brainstorming, and a little life laundry.
Because it’s so easy not to see the forest for the trees, and I wanted to make sure the direction I was heading in was where I really want to go.
And it definitely is.
I can’t wait to get back to my regular routine of writing here. Have you ever taken a vacation just to find yourself doing more than you would in normal life?
I did do a lot this month. The first thing that I can’t wait to show you is my closet. When I looked in my closet I saw four sizes of clothing and nothing to wear. It was crazy.
Is anyone up for a closet makeover?
YAY! Welcome back! I was so afraid that you were going to come back and say that you weren’t going to write your blog anymore. (Sigh of relief over here.) You are such an inspiration. I look forward to your future posts, and the closet makeover.

Welcome back! A few days ago I was thinking about your blog, and how I missed it, and that night I actually had a dream that you came back to announce that you were pregnant with twins, and you’d needed the month off to figure out how to fit two more kids in your apartment.
But yes, I also need a closet makeover, but I think mine needs to happen on a treadmill–right now all the maternity clothes are too big, but my regular clothes are too small, so I’m the same 4 shirts and 2 pairs of pants over and over and over!

1. Would LOVE to see a closet makeover.
2. I want to makeover mine – complete with a gorgeous coat of paint or wallpaper, but I’d settle for just having it all organized;)
3. I miss Chipotle like crazy. We used to live within 5 minutes of the original location as well as a handful of other, but now the closest is 45 mins away. It’s my husband’s one Father’s Day request, so we’re looking forward to it:)

Glad you are back, my morning coffee has been lacking your inspiration. I have a minimalist closet and am loving it. I got my motivation from fabulously broke in the city, and another of her sites, everyday minimalist. (I am not sure about the protocol for linking), I just like the less is more approach. I do work outside the home and have plenty of options, just giving my basics a workout and maximizing dress effect.

Speaking of cleaning out closets, if I could just go through and organize my shoes in bottom of my closet, it would be a great improvement.

Welcome back! I just did a closet makeover and got to donate a ton of clothing to a local community program. It’s such a great feeling to clean the closet out and help others out in the process.

I missed your posts. Thankful you are back and I can totally relate to your comment about your closet. This weekend I noticed I have 3 sizes of clothes and nothing to wear. I just took 4 bags to Salvation Army and organized the rest, so I no longer run errands in my “mommy” house cleaning clothes. Now in order to scale back and be more streamlined I am trying to create outfits with what I have left- matching things I never wore before together. Great post.

I’m in need of a closet makeover, too! I had a baby 2 weeks ago, and am finding that most of my old shirts, that I was so eager to get back into, no longer fit over my (much larger) chest!

Hi! I found your blog while you were away and so did some browsing of back posts while waiting for you to come back. Looking forward to reading more! And my closet needs a major overhaul. First, I’ve lost 40 lbs., so I need to figure out what fits and what doesn’t. Second, we’re switching rooms around and the room we are turning into a master bedroom doesn’t have a closet available, so I’m planning to get a wardrobe (or two) from IKEA, so I need to figure out how much space I need. Whew!

Glad your back. I did a closet clean out earlier this spring. I had the same problem. Three different sized but never anything to wear. Once all the clutter in the closet was gone, I actually found clothes I to wear! Funny how that works! ;D

Love love love a good clean out! I too found your blog right before your hiatus, and spent some time in the archives waiting for your return. I also have been clearing out the closet so I can A) hang things up again and B) see what I have and C) wear everything in the joint, not save crap for the magical day it fits again!
To get rid of the stuff, I’ll be holding a yard sale, and have solicited donations from all my friends (many of whom work in clothing stores) and will be donating all the proceeds to my favourite charity. YAY for clean outs!!!
