One question, answered first

Each page answers one practical question in its opening paragraph, then gives a complete worked example and the sources behind it. Every page ends with what it does not cover and its sources.

Sources and dates

Facts come from university extension services and government guidance, cited with the date they were read. When sources disagree, we show the disagreement and its conditions rather than picking a winner. A detail a source does not state stays unknown.

Examples are illustrations

Routines, storage plans and garden worksheets are original examples that show a method. They are not trials: we do not claim how long a task takes, what a garden will produce or that a box will fit a particular room. Where a page runs a calculation, it says so and states that it is arithmetic, not a physical test.

Safety comes first

Pages on cleaning chemicals, pest control, soapmaking and other safety topics wait until a named, qualified reviewer can check them. Garden pages make no structural or load claims. We give no health, medical or psychological advice.

Neutral and independent

Pages are written in a neutral reference voice with no persona. We do not reuse posts, photographs, recipes or identities from earlier sites at this domain, and pages at older addresses are newly written and dated.

AI assistance and responsibility

Pages are written by AI systems working from the sources above and checked against them before publication. The publisher directs the work and is responsible for every page: errors are corrected in public as described in corrections.

Review

Independent review by a named homekeeping editor and a horticulture specialist is being added. A reviewed page shows the reviewer’s name, credential and review date. Reviewers must be independent of any sponsor on the page.

Sponsors

No sponsor may determine an answer, example or recorded value. An eligible page may carry one separate, labelled module after its complete answer. Data pages are never sponsored, sponsored pages name no product in the sponsor’s category, and no sponsor appears on a page that compares products in its category. See disclosure.
